Skincare specialists want to help after shocking survey statistics
A state of the art clinic in Tonbridge is reaching out to people with skin disease after distressing statistics recently came to light.
In an online survey by the British Skin Foundation (BSF), more than 76 per cent of skin disease sufferers revealed that self confidence is their biggest issue, something Stradbrook Skin wants to change by helping people to achieve a clearer, healthier and more youthful-looking complexion.
The team at Stradbrook Skin is made up of fully qualified skin specialists, a consultant plastic surgeon and a dermatologist, who is able to treat a range of skin diseases identified by the BSF such as psoriasis, eczema, acne and rosacea. The clinic uses the latest equipment and products, including the only FDA approved fractional laser in Kent for stretch marks, to achieve the safest, most effective and medically proven results for clients.
Stradbrook Skin is holding an Open Day on Wednesday 8 June, which will run from 12.30 – 7.30pm in Lyons Crescent, Tonbridge. The event will allow prospective clients the opportunity to meet the highly-skilled team of skin therapists who operate the Palomar pulsed light and laser system, used for hair reduction and to treat stretch marks and scarring, and take a tour of the exclusive new treatment rooms.
Visitors can also book in for a free consultation for Laser IPL hair removal; IPL sun damage treatment; thread vein treatment; and Photofacials, which include a patch test that usually costs £25.
Melissa Ballard, Clinic Manager at Stradbrook Skin, said: “The Open Day is a fantastic way for prospective clients to come and see who we are and what we do. Our team of skin therapists will be available on the day to advise people who are interested in our up-to-the-minute laser treatments, and we can also talk to anyone interested in medical microdermabrasion and medical peels.”
Stradbrook Skin will be offering 10 per cent discount on any treatments booked on the day, excluding beauty and sports therapy. In addition, a new Membership Scheme is being launched that will give prospective clients discounts on a selection of treatments and products for a whole year.
Melissa continued: “Whilst Stradbrook Skin offers clinically proven aesthetic treatments to improve a spectrum of skin issues, we also offer a full range of general beauty treatments, ensuring we have something to cater for every client’s needs. We understand how skin problems can severely affect a person’s self esteem, especially as people are getting beach-ready for summer, and we encourage anyone to book an appointment and let us help address their skin worries.”
